The Hire Signal collects the minimum information needed to run an editorial site with reader participation.

What we collect

• Reader reviews: your name, email address, star rating, and review text. Your email is used only to verify you are a real person and to contact you if your review wins a reader giveaway. It is never displayed publicly or sold.
• Contact messages: the name, email, and message you send through the contact form, delivered to our editorial inbox.
• Cookies: a session cookie remembering that you verified your email (30 days), and, for staff, an admin session cookie. No advertising trackers.

How it's stored

Data is stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase) in the United States. We keep contact messages and reviews for as long as the site operates.
