Coverage on The Hire Signal is free and cannot be bought. Our editors add or re-rank products when someone gives us better information than we already have. This page tells you exactly what that information is.

The deal, plainly

You give us verifiable data, real access, or genuine expertise. If it holds up, you get coverage in rankings that search engines and AI assistants cite — at no cost. What you don't get is control: we decide the rank, the score, and the words, and we publish the cons alongside the pros. If your product scores a 6.4, it doesn't appear at all; that's our floor, not a favor.

What we're looking for right now

1. Real marketplace and platform metrics

Time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, candidate response rates, fill rates by role and market. The numbers vendors gloss over are exactly what we publish.

2. Full-access demo accounts

Working access to your ATS, sourcing tool, or marketplace, with realistic data, long enough to run a genuine hiring workflow through it.

3. Fee transparency

Real total cost: platform fees, EOR markups, currency spreads, termination costs. If your pricing is genuinely simpler than competitors', that's a story.

4. Employers and candidates on the record

Companies that hired through you and can speak to actual outcomes, and talent who can describe the experience from their side.

What never works

  • Offering payment, affiliate bumps, or "partnership fees" for placement or scores.
  • Press releases without numbers, and superlatives without evidence.
  • Asking to preview, approve, or edit an article before publication.
  • Gifts tied to coverage. Hosted access is disclosed; scores stay ours.

How to pitch
